Margie Marie Jones

Margie Marie Jones, a.k.a. “Aunt Reece,” 95, of Summerville, SC, formally of Marksville, LA, wife of the late Dewey Edward Alton Jones, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.

Margie was born in Ruston, LA, to the late Quinten Mabry and the late Eddie Evans Mabry. Having retired as a bookkeeper, she was excellent with numbers. She was of the Baptist faith.

Margie is survived by granddaughters, Annette J. Barfield (Ray) and Diana Greene; grandson, Kenneth Jones; great grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Heather and Alyssa; brother, Sonny Jones; sister, Lucy Tanner and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margie was preceded in death by son, Dewey Edward Alton Jones, Jr.
