Library opens new art exhibit

Dozens of pieces from internationally known artist Don Cincone and local artists Daryl Triplett (pictured) and Larry Holston, Sr. went up for display Tuesday in a new art gallery at the Lincoln Parish Library that will run through the month of March.

Shown above, Triplett holds up his never-before-seen artwork depicting legendary Grambling State University coach Eddie Robinson and each of the Tigers’ four NFL Hall of Famers: Charlie Joiner, Willie Brown, Buck Buchanan and Willie Davis.

The artists will appear at a reception at the Library Events Center on March 12 at 2 p.m. Cincone will return on March 26 at 10:30 a.m. for a book signing of his memoir.
