Early morning violence leaves juvenile dead

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office investigators continue to gather information about an early Monday morning shooting that resulted in the death of a Ruston juvenile.

The incident happened on Beacon Light Road, LPSO Lt. Matt Henderson said. The victim was transported for medical treatment but later died of his injuries.

No further details were available Monday afternoon.
