N. Chatham Road will be closed for emergency cross-drain repair this morning. All residents should be able to bypass this area by using either Hwy. 146 or Beacon Light Road.
The city of Ruston announced, weather permitting, water will be shut off on Winchester Drive, Greenbriar Drive and Tarreyton Drive, today from 9 a.m. to 2 p. m. This shut off is necessary to allow for water system upgrading.
According to the city of Ruston, E. Alabama Avenue between N. Bonner Street and N. Vienna Street will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7 a.m. this morning until further notice.

Weather permitting, the city of Ruston will be closing the east bound lane of Dan Reneau Drive between South Monroe St. and Adams Blvd., to all through traffic beginning Tuesday until further notice.
A Christmas toy drive in Grambling for youngsters ages 1-10 years old begins Thursday and continues through Dec. 14. Items can be dropped at New Rocky Valley Baptist Church, located at 2155 Martin Luther King Ave. in Grambling, between 2-4 p.m.
