Alysia Lewis Bradford, a Ruston native, Ruston High graduate and Grambling State University alumna, recently published an illustrated poem in book form, titled, “Grandma’s House on Memory Lane: A Tribute to Grandmothers Everywhere!”
Lincoln Parish residents who want to vote in the Oct. 14 primary election and are not now registered have until Sept. 13 to do so in person at the registrar of voters office, by mail or at the local Office of Motor Vehicles.
The LSU AgCenter is pleased to announce its 2023 fall Louisiana Super Plant selection: Cinnamon Girl distylium ( Distylium ‘PIIDIST-V’). Distylium hybrids are relatively new to the plant nursery trade, making their debut in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Distylium is a native to Asia and is a member of the witch hazel family.
