Poetry Out Loud 2025 is a wrap. Under the direction of Tami Alexander and part of the Ruston Cultural District programming, this year’s poetry competition hosted a terrific field of competitors. Those recognized with top honors included (from left) Alexis Phillips (third Place), Rileigh Parent (first place) and Jari Richardson (second place). One of the 2024 winners made it to the national competition and these young ladies will now begin that journey, moving on to represent Lincoln Parish in the regional event.
