Ruston’s Board of Aldermen gets its first official look Monday at the Walker administration’s proposed $65.6 million budget for the spending year that begins Oct. 1. Monday’s board meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall and is open to the public. Aldermen are expected to deal with several routine items, then recess and convene in their role as the city’s personnel-finance committee so they can discuss the proposed budget.
