GSU’s Roberts hosting soccer camp in July

GRAMBLING — The Grambling State University women’s soccer team will host a GSU Tigers ID Soccer Camp on July 31, at the GSU Soccer Complex.

The Grambling ID Soccer Camp is for aspiring female players who want to have exposure to the challenges of playing at the NCAA Division I level.

In addition, it will provide an opportunity to experience some of the unique training and coaching methods implemented within the Grambling State Soccer program. The staff will include GSU head coach Craig Roberts and his highly qualified coaching staff.

The event will begin at 8:45 a.m. and will proceed as follows:?• 8:45 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. — Check-in at Grambling Soccer Field (GSU Soccer Complex).

• 9:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. — session one.

• Noon until 1 p.m. — lunch and college recruiting presentation.

• 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. — session two.?Participants will need to bring lunch, a ball (with your name on it), shin guards, cleats, indoor shoes, water bottle and proof of a negative COVID test.
