Natalie Blake

Natalie Blake went home to be with the Lord and to become one of his angels on June 1, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.

She grew up in Ruston and graduated from Ruston High School. She also received a Computer Science degree from Louisiana Tech University. After college, she was a long-time resident of Dallas, Texas.

She was in her church choir at Prestenwood Baptist Church where she was active in many departments and went on many choir trips with her congregation.

Natalie worked in the computer science field while living in Dallas and worked at firms such as IBM and At&t. Natalie loved to travel and went on many adventures with her family and friends throughout her life. Her most notable adventure was with her mother when they visited Israel.

She loved spending time with her family and visited often. She took her three youngest nieces and nephews to the Grand Canyon so that they could have the experience together.

Natalie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Thelma Blake of Ruston, Chester Blake of Ringgold, and Nell and Clifford Hughart of Greenwood, Arkansas.

She leaves behind her parents, Harvey and Lynda Blake of Ruston; brothers, Todd (JoAnn) and Tony (Jennifer) both of Ruston; and many nieces and nephews.

There will not be a formal ceremony held, but a private family viewing. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the Susan B. Komen Cancer Foundation.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
