A Celebration of Life for Lois Gronewold, 80, will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 3 p.m. in the main sanctuary of Farmerville First Assembly of God with Pastor Robbie Lawson officiating.

Interment will be at Kilpatrick’s Memorial Gardens in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Farmerville First Assembly of God from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Lois Gronewold was born in Hastings, Michigan, on July 26, 1942, and passed away in Ruston, on September 13, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Gronewold; parents, Clare and Minnetta Lammers; and sister, Gale Chamberlin.

She was a former teacher at Hedrick Middle School in Lewisville, Texas, and attended Farmerville First Assembly of God.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Gronewold of Ruston; son, Scott Gronewold of Grand Prairie, Texas; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Gronewold; brothers, Robert Lammers (Joan) and Edward Lammers ( Roberta); extended family, James II, Paulette, Giovanni, James III, and Makenzi Lopez; Constance Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Scott Gronewold, Charles Earl, Larry Warner, David Freeman, Randy Waggoner and Seth Hanchey.

Honorary pallbearers will be James II, James III, and Giovanni Lopez. The family would like to extend their thanks to all of Lois’s current caregivers and to Allegiance Hospice Care. Online condolences may be sent to the family at kilpatrickfuneralhomes. com.
