Joselyn Mary Castille

Funeral services for Joselyn Mary Castille, age 74 of Downsville, LA, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, at Dubach United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephanie Green officiating. Interment followed in Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Ruston, LA.

Joselyn was born July 2, 1946 to Joseph and Gladys Castille in Rayne, LA, and passed away at her residence Aug. 21, 2020. She loved cooking, spending time with her family and enjoyed watching TV and playing on her I Pad.

Joselyn was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughters: Carla Forrestier, Nanette and husband Rodney Cobb and Angelic Forrestier and fiancé Todd; grandchildren: Tyler Cobb and wife Brittany and Travis Cobb; great grandchildren: Trent and Easton Cobb; extended family Roger and Melba Cobb; special friends: Gail Colvin, Susan Houck and Glenda Ovitt; God child, Joey Thibodeaux.

Serving as pallbearers are Taylor Coulter, Robert (Skeeter) Colvin, Lance Colvin, Scott Lopez, Brad Gibson and Rodney Forrestier. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony Williams, Bubba Kay and Clint Allen.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Coy Gamage and Shelia at the oncology clinic, Professional Hospice and Best Home Health nurse Ashley Derdin.

Visitation was held from noon until time of service, Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Dubach United Methodist Church.
