Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Salem United Methodist Church. Deborah Ann Rainey Robinson was born July 3, 1953, in Ruston, and passed away April 5, 2022, at her home in Simsboro.

Lovingly known as Misa by her grandchildren, spending time with them and going to their sporting events were her very favorite things to do. She graduated from Ruston High School in 1971 and went on to receive her Bachelors of Science degree in Business from Louisiana Tech University in 1974.

Debbie married the love of her life, Mo, in 1976, and they had two sons, Jeff and Andy. After being a stay-at-home mom for many years with her two boys, she pursued her desire to become a Registered Nurse.

Graduating again from Louisiana Tech University in 1991, 28 years of personal gratitude and joy followed for her through her nursing career as she absolutely loved caring for others.

A couple of years after her 2019 retirement, Debbie moved to Simsboro to be next door to her family where she could spend her time being with her grand-children, her two beloved fur babies Sweetie and Annie, watching deer and turkeys, reading, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and cross stitching.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and looked forward to every Sunday morning where she could be with the great people there. Debbie’s life here on earth ended with her truly happiest and most peaceful days.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Rainey, Jr.; her husband, Modell Robinson; a son, Andy Robinson; and her brother, Gary Rainey.

Debbie is survived by a son, Jeff Robinson and wife Laurie; eight grandchildren, Owen, Blake, Phoenix, Sydney, Jacob, Laney, Joshua, and Jack; nieces, Anna, Natalie, and Paula, and their families; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 11793 Highway 151, Dubach, LA 71235.

Pallbearers will be her six grandsons, Owen Robinson, Blake Robinson, Phoenix Robinson, Jacob Robbins, Joshua Robbins, and Jack Robbins; and Mason Miller and Luke Lary.
