David Aaron Cole Richardson

David Aaron Cole Richardson, a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend went to his eternal home on January 29, 2023. Cole was born on October 12, 1990 in Ruston.

Cole is survived by his parents, Peter and Annie Richardson; his sister, Taylor Richardson Burt ( brother- inlaw, Alex Burt); his nieces, Blake and Haas, his girlfriend, Sarah Kidd, many aunts, uncles, and loving cousins.

Cole was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Francis Richardson and Beatrice Gail Read; and his maternal grandparents, Dr. David Weinstein and Johnice Hirsch Weinstein.

Cole graduated from Ruston High School in 2009, where he was a standout wide receiver and tight end for the Bearcat football team. Following high school, Cole fulfilled his childhood dream of playing football for the LSU Tigers and proudly graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Cole was also a well-loved member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity through which he formed many longlasting friendships. Cole was a realtor with the firm Talbot Realty Group in New Orleans, while expanding his professional career with Infenergy Solar.

Cole loved the outdoors and all sports, not only for the fresh air and adventure, but because this was where he spent time with family, friends, and loved ones — Cole’s most valued treasures. He spent most of his life hunting and fishing at Little Mo Loop in Mer Rouge, with his Dad, his yellow lab, Chief, and friends.

Cole looked forward to family vacations, annual beach trips with his family and friends — especially his beloved nieces. The relationship he had with his nieces was like no other. They shared an unbreakable bond with their “Lee Lee.”

Cole was known for his infamous good looks, cunning charm, infectious smile, witty sense of humor, and most of all his gentle, loving spirit. Cole was often times larger than life and lit up every room. He knew no strangers and left a memorable, positive imprint on those who were lucky enough to spend time with him. Cole loved life and had a heart of gold. His absence will always be felt, but his spirit will live on through all the lives he touched.

“To Tha Hunt …” A Private Memorial will be held in Cole’s honor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MedCamps of Louisiana, Inc., www. medcamps.org. Please Share a Memory on the Tribute Wall at www. ejfieldingfh.com.
