Carol Anita McIntosh

Funeral services for Carol Anita McIntosh will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Kings Funeral Home, 1511 West California Avenue, Ruston. She passed in Temecula, California, on September 6, 2024.

Carol was born on December 24, 1951 in St Paul, Minnesota to the late Drs. William and Lucy McIntosh. Her father was the Dean of the of College Liberal Arts and her mother was a Professor at Grambling State University.

Carol was educated at Grambling Laboratory School and graduated from Grambling High School in 1969. Carol is listed in the 19681969 Merits Who’s Who Among American High School Students. She graduated from Grambling State University receiving a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, Applied Computer Science in 1972.

Carol is a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon Fraternity, National Mathematics Iota Chapter. She received a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois in 1975.

Carol worked for IBM from September 6, 1973 and retired as a Senior Programmer on April 30th 2009 Carol was a member of New Rocky Valley Baptist Church, Grambling.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Gwendolyn M. Williams, Terence C. Williams, brother- inlaw, nephew Terence C. Williams II; niece Cherolyn N. Williams; and a host of cousins and devoted friends.

Carol’s service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at King’s Funeral Home, 1511 W. California Avenue, Ruston 71270.

Public viewing is from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
