Beverly Ann Donner

Beverly Ann Donner, 94, crossed over to Heaven on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, after a recent illness. She was born February 5, 1927, in New Orleans the youngest of five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bernard Charles; and her grandson, Elliott Donner.

Maw Maw, as she was called by her family, was a woman of great faith and a prayer warrior for all her friends and family.

She lived a great life over the years in New Orleans, Shreveport, the Mississippi and Florida gulf coasts, and in Ruston.

She was a great hostess and welcomed all to her home to enjoy time together.

The great loves in Maw Maw’s life were Jesus, her family, and her friends.

Family left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Donner and wife Michelle, Chuck Donner and wife Tyann, Beth Donner Rogers and husband Tommy, Nancy Donner Williams and husband Glynn, and Bitty Donner Butler and husband Tony; grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers, Chris Donner and wife Amy, Piper Donner Sessions and husband Drew, Wynn Rogers and wife Karen, Shannon Donner Hurst and husband Ryan, Michael Donner and wife Kim, William Donner and wife Sara, Katherine Fuller Walker and husband Jason, Collin Donner and wife Jessica, Blake Butler and wife Maggie, Andrew Fuller, and Clay Butler and wife Amy;

Great-grandchildren, Harper, Mae and Kate Sessions, Hayes and Olivia Donner, Maddie, Kiki and Charlie Hurst, Ellie and Jake Donner, Thomas, Charlie, Maggie, and Georgia Rogers, Liam, Elizabeth and Graham Rogers, Brooks Donner, Emily and James Walker; soon to be born, Margot Butler and Beau Butler. Her family is very appreciative of the love and support from Premier Hospice, Ruston Specialty Hospital, and all her loving friends and workers at Alpine Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Methodist Church at 2 p.m.. Saturday, September 18, 2021. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

All friends and family are welcome to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Trinity Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
