Amy Rasbury Martin, age 48, of Dubach, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 2, 2021, surrounded by her family after battling cancer for two years.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston. Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery in Dubach with Bro. Greg Tipton officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Amy was born on September 16, 1972, to Murray and Susan Rasbury. She attended Ruston High School where she was a member of the Bearcat Belles Dance Team.

She then attended Louisiana Tech University, graduated and went on to work at Argent where she made many lifelong friends.

She was so many things to so many people. Aside from being a daughter, wife and mother; she was a sister, a friend, a confidant, a fierce cheerleader to her girls and a bonus mom to most.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Earl and Irene Squyres; and paternal grandparents, Murray Sr. and Edith Rasbury; and her mother-in-law Judy Martin.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul; children, Melinda and Eva (Brandon); parents, Susan and Murray; brother, Michael (Amanda); father-In-Law, Hadley (Ann); brother-In-Law, James (Stacy), Nephews, Tanner (Calie), Max, and Avery; niece, Tory and numerous cousins and close friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tanner Martin, Brandon Russell, Hunter Dugdale, Tristan Johnson, Colin Shirley, Ry Gaines, Clay Flournoy, Colby Brister and Connor Baskin. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Max Rasbury.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.

Memorials and donations may be made to Mineral Springs Baptist Church Rebuilding fund, 118 Pea Ridge Rd, Dubach, LA 71235.
