I have carefully considered a millage proposal through which Lincoln Parish school administrative personnel had anticipated asking the Lincoln School District to consider. The proposal, called “Project Secure,” would have been for the public to decide on two issues that would have elevated our schools system. It was believed, based extensive research, collaboration, networking, and data driven findings, to promote and provide for the best educational interests of our children and a school district’s best practice.
