Homer Wiley McCrary went home with the Lord Jesus Christ .
February 9th 2018 at about 10:20 A.M Homer McCraray entered in the rest.
Homer McCraray was born in Louisiana to Warren Lane McCrary and Sarah Alice Arrant- McCrary on December 16th 1949. Homer married Marilyn Janell Loftin in 1968 and joined the air force in 1974, USAF USAFR -Vietnam and was stationd at Davis Monthon air force base in tucson AZ , where TSgt McCrary proudly served this great country as an aircraft maintenance specialist until his honorable discharge in 1982 , then he became a miner at the copper mines in San Manuel Arizona , then in 1990 he became a truck driver with swift Homer and Marilyn McCraray (Jan) had 4 childern , Warren , Sarah , Marilyn , and Elizabeth (Ann) . Homer preceded his nephew Adrian Philips , his father Warren Lane McCrary , and his wife Marilyn (Jan) Loftin-McCrary
Homer was survived by his mother Sarah Alice Arrant-McCrary , his sister Cynthia McCrary-Philips and her husband Charles Philips , his children Warren ,Sarah and her husband Carl Maness , Marilyn , and Elizabeth , as well as grandchildren Melissa , Joseph , Shonda , and Krista and great grandchildren Braden ,Atreyu , and Valerie as well as extended grandchildren and extended great grandchildren
Homer believed there was no such thing as a stranger. He always introduced himself wherever he went.A memorial service for Homer McCrary will be held on Tuesday February 27th at 7 p.m. at the church that he attended Faithfully, Kings Court UPC Church at 2401 S Service Road W Ruston Louisiana 71270.
Pastor Sammy Bozeman and pastor Carl Maness will be speaking and Sarah Maness will be representing the family . Please join and share your memories of my unique and awesome dad.
