Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Nathan Warren

Sara Kate Barr, of Ruston, and Tyler Nathan Warren, of Castor, Louisiana, were united in holy matrimony at 6 p.m. on March 16 at White Oak Venue in Ruston.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Reverend Will McLeane of Raleigh, North Carolina, cousin of the bride.  

The bride is the daughter of Chris & Lisa Barr or Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Helen Reeves, of Ruston; and the late W.C. Reeves; and the late A.M. and Theo Barr.

The groom is the son of Rodney Warren, of Castor, and Beth Eseman, of Bossier City. He is the grandson of Nathan and Marilyn Warren, of Castor; and of Rose Sabolek, of Bossier City; and the late Michael Sabolek.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a natural colored A-line gown featuring a mid-cut strapped bodice with a pleated skirt which flowed into a cathedral train adorned with silk covered buttons.  The dress was paired with a fingertip illusion veil trimmed with satin ribbon.  Sara Kate carried a bouquet containing a mixture of garden roses, peonies, and ranunculus in shades of pink and coral with pops of yellow.

The Matron of Honor was Anna McLeane Shelley, of Little Rock, Arkansas, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Abigail Barr, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, sister-in-law of the bride; Jessica Grigsby, of Dallas, Texas; Tori Jones, of Auburn, Alabama; Hannah Kempf, of Bossier City; Allison Morris, of Bossier City; Chelsea Parker, of Benton; Morgan Potts, of Austin, Texas and Lindsey Thompson of Ruston, sister of the groom.

The bridesmaids wore floor length dresses of varying styles made from platinum colored silk shantung.  They carried bouquets of similar design and flowers as the bride’s bouquet.  

The Best Man was Taylor Wilson of Los Angeles, California. The groomsmen were Reeves Barr of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Jacob Coltson, of Shreveport; Jordan Guest, of Bryceland; Dadrian Harris, of Bossier City; Stephen Kempf, of Bossier City; Travis McKinnon, of Bossier City; Matt Parker, of Stonewall; Byron Pierce, of Bossier City; and Trey Simon, of Bossier City. Ushers were Ross Hornor, of Monroe; Kyle Kavanaugh, of Ruston; and William Long, of Shreveport.

The flower girls were Evelyn Rose Smith, of Bentonville, Arkansas; Lela Rose Shelley, of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Harper Cate Pearce, of Ruston; all cousins of the bride.  

Greeters were Elijah Liam Smith, of Bentonville, Arkansas; William Minh Ridenour, of Alexandria, Virginia; and Alexander Viet Ridenour, of Alexandria, Virginia, all cousins of the bride.

Scripture readers were Megan Pearce of Shreveport, cousin of the bride and Richie Warren of Castor, uncle of the groom.

Music was provided by Four Seasons String Ensemble; Scott Smith, Trumpeter; Jeremy and Catherine Asher, Vocalists; and Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs, Reception Band.

Ceremony and reception design and floral arrangements were by Tanya Paul of Everything Artsy. Catering was provided by Linda Peevy and the wedding cakes were designed and made by Nancy Whittenburg.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, and wedding reception were also held at the White Oak Venue in Ruston.

On December 8, Jessica Grigsby, Tori Jones, Hannah Kempf, Allison Morris, Lori Moseley, Chelsea Parker, and Lindsey Thompson hosted a couples shower at the home of Hannah Kempf.

On January 19, Jim and Sherri Pearce, of Ruston, hosted an engagement party at their home, Other hosts included, Danny and JoAnn Barr, Mike and Kay Barr, Reid and Paige Carlisle, Stanley and Susan Dupuy, Randy and Sally Graham, Jay and Susan Guillot, Tawny and Debbie Hancock, Jim and Anne Hough, Bob and Lesley James, Jim and Lori King, George and Cindy Murphy, and Jay and Ann White.

On January 26, Antionette Anderson, Denise Cox, Ellen Davis, Mary Lou Funes, Wanda Ginn, Sally Hearn, Melinda Killen, Amy Neal, Nelda Neal, Michele Robinson, Mallory Ross, and Pam Walpole hosted a bridal shower at the home of Denise Cox in Ruston.

On February 3, Virginia Bogan, Sue Guin, Lois Hill, Gloria McCarthy, Judy McCarthy, Carol Nelson, Willie Jean Vise, and Peggy Wood hosted a bridal shower at New Ebenezer Baptist Church in Castor.

On March 15, Carol Dufilho, Laura McLeane, Kris Reeves, all aunts of the bride, and Helen Reeves, grandmother of the bride, hosted a bridesmaids’ luncheon at Wine Country Bistro, in Shreveport.

The bridesmaids held a bachelorette weekend in Austin, Texas.

The couple will take a honeymoon trip to Tennessee and will reside in Bossier City.
