Parish voters head to the polls Saturday

Treasurer’s race, amendments on ballot

Lincoln Parish voters join their peers across the state Saturday in the primary election for Louisiana’s next treasurer and to decide on three constitutional amendments.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Voters must bring photo ID.

The treasurer’s seat became open last year when former 17-year incumbent John Kennedy, a Republican, was elected to the U.S. Senate.
