Ex-RHS star Kentrell Brice earns spot on Packers’ roster

Kentrell Brice is living a dream.

And the dream grew even bigger and more amazing on Saturday when the former Ruston High and Louisiana Tech University defensive back was officially confirmed as a member of the Green Bay Packers’ 53-player regular season roster for 2016.

Brice wasn’t the only former Lincoln Parish prep or college player getting an uplifting phone call and a “no show” from the dreaded “Turk” on Saturday.

He was one of three undrafted, so-called “long shot” free agent signees who will be starting the soon-to-start campaign on official rosters.
