Lincoln Parish prep boys basketball teams beginning trying to realize their hoop dreams tonight as the Louisiana High School Athletic Association playoffs begin.

Five of Lincoln Parish boys basketball teams moved on to postseason play with four receiving Top 6 playoff berths.

Simsboro is the No. 1 in Class B after going 28-7 overall and 6-0 in District 2B. The Tigers, under first-year coach Josh Brown. earned a first-round bye and is expected to host a second-round contest on Tuesday.

Senior Zach Taylor leads the Tigers with 21 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per contest.
