This time last year, Northwest Louisiana and especially the people of Minden and Doyline, were appalled by the announced decision by the Environmental Protection Agency to dispose of the dangerous M6 propellants and other explosives at Camp Minden by an open tray curn. More than 15 million pounds of M6 propellant and approximately 320 thousand pounds of clean burning igniter, plus other explosives, are stored at the Camp Minden site.
