Students visit local fire station

September and October are busy months at Emmanuel. Emmanuel honored our grandparents with a wonderful Grandparent’s Day Celebration. They wrote a book in honor of the fun activities we enjoy doing with our grandparents and read it to them that morning. The children loved singing their songs and reciting the Bible verse they’ve learned.

Betty Wells, author of “How the Goldfish Became Gold,” came by to share her new book “Aardvark on the Ark” with Ms. Deby’s class. The children loved the book and had a great time talking with Wells about her books.
