NORFOLK, Va. — A four-run sixth inning was just what Old Dominion needed to defeat Louisiana Tech, 4-2, in comeback fashion as the Monarchs clinched a series victory over the Bulldogs Saturday afternoon at Bud Metheny Baseball Complex.

With Tech (23-24, 7-18 Conference USA) holding on to a 2-0 lead after five and a half innings, trouble struck in the bottom of the sixth when Old Dominion (25-24, 11-15 C-USA) sent seven batters to the plate and scored four runs on five hits, including the go-ahead two-run double by Jason McMurray, to eventually seal a two-run victory.
