Grambling candidates enter runoff

Recent election results have been successfully challenged by a current member of the Grambling City Council leading to an additional runoff race for the Dec. 6 election.

Councilman Birdex Copeland and candidate G. Denise Dupree closed out the Nov. 4 election with a .05 percent, a two vote difference, with Dupree being the victor.

Totaling 520 votes originally, Copeland said the decision to call for a recount was only logical.
