GSU tops Alabama A&M, 38-28

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Red-hot Grambling State University went with its hottest hand Saturday as the Tigers roared to a 38-28 road win over Alabama A&M at Louis Crews Stadium.

The win was GSU’s third straight to make the Tigers 3-3 overall and 3-0 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference while Alabama A&M fell to 2-4 and 1-2 in the SWAC.

Junior quarterback Johnathan Williams passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead in his first start of the season.
