One of the most magical careers in Major League Baseball history ended Sunday as Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees took his final at bat against the Boston Red Sox.

Fittingly, Jeter turned in an RBI-single in his final at bat, helping lead to the Yankees to a 9-5 road win at Fenway Park.

Three days earlier, Jeter capped his Yankee Stadium farewell with a walk-off, game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead New York to a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
