On this past Labor Day, I was accosted by what has come to be known today as common courtesy,  and a common event. For anyone that has occasion to drive on one of our battered and tattered country roads, you are acutely aware of the oilfield and logging activities in our area, and how dangerous these roads have become. Many residents of Lincoln Parish draw revenue from oil and gas wells, as well as timber; including many of my family members and neighbors. We are all grateful for the money.
