Power outages across parish


Lincoln Parish residents who lost power during Monday night’s thunderstorm should have their electricity back on by the end of today, representatives of area utilities said this morning.

Several hundred customers scattered throughout the parish were left in the dark late Monday night and early this morning when heavy storms packing intermittent high winds and lightning moved through the area.

Roderick Worthy, customer service manager with Entergy, said about 2,000 customers across the utility company’s North Louisiana region lost power.
