Jeff Smith turns passion into strength one T-shirt at a time.

The online workout gear business Smith founded four years ago has become an avenue for raising awareness of and research dollars for a rare form of Congenital Muscular Dystrophy known as Merosin Deficient CMD.

Smith and his wife, Nicola, own Muscle Club Apparel. One hundred percent of the profits from their Stay Strong T-shirt line — a line they created in honor of their son — goes to Cure CMD.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research, treatment and possibly a cure for Congenital Muscular Dystrophy.
