The Humane Society of Louisiana is thrilled to announce that their new “TransPUPtation” van is on the road bearing its inaugural adoption. Twenty-seven rescued dogs from the Deep South are headed north on their way to new homes and blissful lives.

For years, the Humane Society of Louisiana has been matching homeless dogs with loving families in the Northeast by working with numerous partners, saving the lives of thousands of pets who would otherwise die in local shelters. Because there are fewer homeless animals in Northeast communities, unwanted pets are in high demand.
