Why we procrastinate with our money

Question: A year ago, my husband and I sat down and set some financial goals. We wanted to get out of debt and start saving some money — neither of which we have ever done. A year later, we have not made any real progress. We have the income … we just have not seemed to make ourselves do it. Are we hopeless?

Answer: Not at all!

Your problem is that you’re human.

Fortunately, we’ve all been born with that limitation, so you aren’t any farther behind than the rest of us. But you do have some very human weaknesses that you’ll have to overcome if you are going to turn this ship around.
