Leader photo by T. SCOTT BOATRIGHT- Sophomore running back Tevin King (26) looks to be near 100 percent healthy after playing in only three games in 2012 before a knee injury cut his season short.

It’s the start of a new era as Louisiana Tech University opens the 2013 football season Saturday with an 11:30 a.m. contest against North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C.
Tech is coming off a 9-3 campaign last season while the Wolfpack went 7-6.

The game will mark the first game for the Bulldogs as a new member of Conference USA, the first under new head coach Skip Holtz and the first under the leadership of new Tech President Les Guice and new Athletics Director Tommy McClelland.
