Board discusses Simsboro track, benefits of LHF

The August meeting of the Lincoln Parish School Board was focused on getting students back in classes and getting supplies to schools.

Board members unanimously — with the exception of Trott Hunt who was absent — approved the revised Pupil Progression Plan. This plan, which defines how students are promoted and progress through school until graduation, is required to be updated each year in accordance with the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education guidelines.

Paula Pardue, secondary academic coordinator, assured the board that this new plan meets those standards.
