“The Great Outdoors,” I consider this phrase a very common one, but trends of today would lead us to believe that today’s youth may not be quite so familiar with it. Youth today are more familiar with phrases like, “Just Google it,” “Facebook me,” “Look the video up on YouTube,” “Follow me on Twitter,” “Check Moodle for your assignment,” “Get your grades on Parent Command,” “We have got to prepare for the LEAP test,” “Let’s play some Xbox.” There are many reasons for this trend.
