Union man dead in ATV crash

Louisiana State Police Troop F troopers responded to a single -vehicle crash at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday in Union Parish.

The investigation revealed that an ATV was traveling on Burch Road, south of Louisiana Highway 348, when for unknown reasons the ATV left the roadway, entered the grassy shoulder and struck a tree. The sole occupant was thrown from the ATV upon impact.
