Major league season runs far too long

Well, the beginning of every baseball season means the same thing to me every year once April hits and “America’s favorite pastime” starts quite possibly the longest and most pointless season of any sport ever invented.

That’s right Major League Baseball; I am talking about you and your idiotic decision to continue to leave the season’s length at 162 games, plus the playoffs. That’s right folks, in case you did not know just how long the season is, before the halfway point and All-Star break in July, the teams will have played 81 games, or 20 more games than the National Basketball Associations teams played all season long in 2012.
