The city of Ruston on Friday welcomed Laddie Aulakh and the new USA Travel Plaza directly off Interstate 20 on Farmerville Highway.

“This has been a project in my head for 10 years,” said Aulakh, owner of the USA Travel Plaza. “I met with Mayor Ronny Walker three years ago, we found a spot and now we’re here. It took a long time but here we are.”
