Ruston man wanted for attempted murder

On Saturday, the Ruston Police Department responded to a call from the North Louisiana Medical Center about a gunshot victim at 12:40 a.m.

The victim of the shooting, Corey Lewis, 44, of Ruston, had to be airlifted to Shreveport for his injuries and remains in critical condition.

The shooting occurred on Jackson Avenue in Ruston. Ruston PD has identified the suspected shooter as Amondo Millage, 25, also of Ruston.

RPD has issued a warrant for attempted second-degree murder for Millage. The investigation continues.

Millage is at-large, and if anyone sees or encounters Millage, he should be considered armed and dangerous.
