Neon art exhibit comes to Tech

A historical neon art exhibit by nationally recognized artist David Hutson titled “Memory & Desire: A Personal Exploration of Neon Art, Past & Present” opened on Louisiana Tech University campus last week. The exhibit features the Missouri-based artist’s restoration work on vintage neon signs, many from the ‘30s and ‘40s, as well as his own original pieces using neon as a medium. It will be available for viewing at the F. Jay Taylor Visual Arts Center through Nov. 7.
