Hampton honored for work with children

Third Judicial District Judge Bruce Hampton received the Tree of Life Award from the Center for Children and Families, Inc. and CASA of Northeast Louisiana in recognition of April being Child Abuse Prevention Month. The award is given for outstanding service in his efforts to protect children from abuse and neglect. Additionally, Hampton received a tree which he has planted in honor of a child who has lost their life to abuse and neglect.
