CONWAY, Arkansas — The Grambling State University women’s soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to Central Arkansas at the Bill Stephens Track/Soccer Complex on Friday night. Beatriz Kretteis led the Lady Tigers’ offensive attack, putting two of four shot attempts on goal. The loss drops GSU to 2-5 on the year. Central Arkansas built a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute on a goal from Sydney Brough, Grambling State nearly tied the game right at the halftime buzzer, when Lizbeth Aguero pinged a free kick off the the top right corner of the crossbar. UCA tacked on one more goal on a free kick in the 89th minute to secure the 2-0 victory.
