Women's roles greatly changed

As I was flipping through a recent issue of Time magazine that centered around women becoming the richer sex, naturally, as a woman, I was intrigued.
The article explained in depth about how women are starting to gain more power and make more money than their male counterparts. This shift from the norm has caused men to take more responsibility in the home and women to become America’s “breadwinners.”
Women have been battling kitchen grime, couch stains and eager children for decades. It’s about time men started taking over some of the dirty domestic work.

Ruston man arrested on cocaine charge

A Ruston man is in jail after Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team officers reportedly served a search warrant and found 51.8 grams of suspected cocaine.
Kelvin Drayton, 40, of 125 W. Vaughn St., was arrested at approximately 11:24 a.m. Thursday after officers searched his home.
According to the arrest affidavit, officers found a plastic bag containing 51.8 grams of suspected cocaine, several plastic bags containing suspected marijuana gleanings, surveillance camera equipment and a set of digital scales in the bedroom that Drayton’s mother said belonged to him.
