Coming off their second straight NCAA Regional appearance, the Louisiana Tech Baseball team is slated to face Auburn and ULM in a pair of fall exhibitions. The Bulldogs will travel to Auburn, Alabama, to face the Tigers on Oct. 15 at Plainsman Park. Two weeks later on Oct. 29, they will make the short trip to Monroe to take on the Warhawks at Lou St. Amant Field.

Ruston resident Doug Perry has announced his candidacy for the District 12 seat on the Lincoln Parish School Board. Perry, who claims no party affiliation, is trying to unseat incumbent Debbie Abraham. District 12 is part of southwest Ruston. The election is Nov. 8.
