Tickets for the 20th annual Monroe St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway remain on sale. As with the local St. Jude Radiothon, both radio station Z107.5 and the Zeta Rho chapter of the service group Epsilon Sigma Alpha are among key players with the project.

Tamar Clothylde Read, now living at Russ Place in Ruston, was born Feb. 27, 1922 in Olla, the daughter of Paul L. Read, who became principal of the old Olla-Standard High School, and Willow Roane Read, a teacher in that school system.
Jewel Theiler came to Louisiana Tech University with an attention to detail and a love for solving problems; both of these qualities are of use to her in her area of study.
