Ruston-based financial holding company Origin Bancorp, Inc., has accelerated its Texas expansion by signing a merger agreement with BT Holdings, headquartered in Quitman, Texas.

Adopt-A-School partner Eta Omicron Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi helped Cypress Springs Elementary School make a dream come true for its students. The sorority donated a new bicycle as part of a special emphasis on campus which allowed students to enter a drawing to win a bike of their own.
