A Ruston man facing five counts of attempted first-degree murder in connection with a suspected arson that occurred Tuesday night on Colonial Street has turned himself in to authorities.
Terrance De’marco Barber surrendered himself Thursday morning after learning law enforcement officers were looking for him, according to his arrest affidavit.
Barber is charged by Ruston city police with one count of criminal trespass, and by the Louisiana Fire Marshal’s office with one count of aggravated arson and five counts of attempted first-degree murder.
