Molley Carilyn Boone Cartwright was born on April 16, 1986, in Ruston, Louisiana. She passed from this earth to her heavenly home in the early hours of February 20, 2018, in Baton Rouge, after having delivered her precious son, Braddock Stone Cartwright, on February 19 at 12:42 p.m.--a healthy baby boy of 9 lbs. 2 oz. and 22 1/2 inches long.

Jerry Whitman, and Sheriff, Mike Stone will officiate. Interment will follow at Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, February 22, at Temple Baptist Church.

Mr. Foy Scroggins, Jr., age 80 of Ruston, LA, formerly of Yazoo City, MS, was born August 27, 1937 and passed away February 16, 2018 in Shreveport, LA following medical complications. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Larry Emory officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Short Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Yazoo City, MS.

Billy Foster

Billy C. Foster, 87, of Simsboro, Louisiana, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sybil Smalling Foster; children: Linda Clark and her husband Jerry Clark; Angela Houck and her husband Tracy Houck; Steven Smalling and his wife Louise Smalling; Jean Smalling Peters and her husband Joe Peters; and Michael Smalling; as well as four grandchildren: April Clark Honaker, Caleb Clark, Lauren Houck and Anna Houck; and four great-grandchildren Camdyn Clark, Lilly Clark, Lakelynn Honaker and Banyan Honaker.

Funeral services for Thomas Edroe Pesnell, 84, of Ruston, will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Dr. Michael Hawley will officiate assisted by Bro. Dale Oden. Interment will follow at Longstraw Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until the service at the church.
Mr. Pesnell was born July 29, 1933 in Jackson Parish to Erma Lee Spillers and Thomas Shady Pesnell. He died on February 11, 2018 following a lengthy illness.

Jonn was born March 26, 1958, in Radford, Virginia and passed away on February 2, 2018, in Lexington, Kentucky, after a brief illness.

Dr. Richard May

Beloved husband, daddy, granddaddy, brother, uncle, friend, and pastor Dr. Richard May, went to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, February 11, 2018, a day for which he had lived his life.
Dr. May was born in Ellettsville, Indiana, to Charles Mitchell and Martha Ann May on March 23, 1928, and was raised in Evansville and Spencer, Indiana. Near the end of World War II he joined the Army and gladly served in whatever capacity for which he was needed. Several years later, with a wife and child at home, he unselfishly served in Korea as a medic.
