With the summer months almost over, James Ramsaur, director of the Lincoln Parish Park, is looking to make some improvements to the amenities offered at the park. Among those improvements are the updating of five campsites. “The sites 29-33 are the last five sites and they are on a hill so they get a lot of water down off the hill,” he said. “We are going to try to channel the water and enlarge them a little bit so they will be big enough for the camper.” The next project will be installing tall gates along the beach to ensure the safety of visitors when lifeguards aren’t present. “Right now...
